SIZE/MEASUREMENTS
approx. 1.5”length from its widest point x 3"height
...but they can vary based on yarn and hook size.
MATERIALS
*Crochet hook size: 3.0mm
*Worsted Weight Yarn: Ivory (3yds), Light Green (2yds), Green (1yd), Brown (1yd) & Black (1yd)
*Stitch Markers to mark your rounds
*Tapestry Needle
*Matching Thread
*Felt: Green & Brown (optional for leaf and stem)
*Hot Glue (optional)
PATTERN NOTES - must read...
Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round/row indicate the total number of stitches.
Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
There's no need to sl st and/or ch when going to the next round unless stated to do so.
SPECIAL STITCHES
Treble Crochet (tr)- Y/O hook twice, insert hook into stitch & pull up a loop (4 loops remaining), Y/O hook & pull thru 2 loops (3 loops remaining), Y/O hook & pull thru 2 loops (2 loops remaining, Y/O hook & pull thru the 2 remaining loops.

PEAR starting with ivory
Rnd 1: ch10, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 2sts, hdc in next 2sts, dc in next 2sts, tr in next st, 6tr in last st, other side of the foundations chains tr in next st, dc in next 2sts, hdc in next 2sts, sc in next 2sts, 3sc in last st, in last st change to light green or light brown (24)
Rnd 2: sc in next 8sts, 2sc in next 2sts, sl st in next 2sts, 2sc in next 2sts, sc in next 10sts (28)
Rnd 3: sl st in next 2 sts to give it an even finish
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.
STEM with brown
ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (3)
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.
LEAF with green
ch 4, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, ch1, dc in next ch, sl st in last ch
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.
ASSEMBLE
I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best before sewing. (Most people like to use the yarn at the end of the finished pieces to sew them in place, but I personally like to use matching thread).
TIP...For anything that I’m going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on a white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
With black yarn embroidery 2 tiny seeds in the position you like best.
Sew the stem to the top part of the pear. If you like you can use brown felt to create the stem.
Finally sew the leaf on one of the sides of the stem. Or you can create a leaf using green felt.
