   For those who love cute things, this little sea turtle is the perfect size to hold onto your palm or attach it to your bag as a keychain and be your traveling companion.

SIZE/MEASUREMENTS
approx. 3"length x 2.75"width

...but can vary based on yarn and hook size.

MATERIALS
*Crochet hook size: 2.25mm (B)
*Sport Weight Yarn: Tea Leaf (15yds) & Light Brown (7yds)
*Stitch Markers to mark your rounds

*2 Safety Eyes (6mm)

*Fiberfill

F/O and leave a tail for closing. Stuff moderately firm. Weave in the tail through the final round and draw up tight to close. Secure and weave in the ends.

F/O, leave a tail for sewing

FLIPPERS with tea leaf; make 4

  Rnd 1: 8sc in magic ring (8)

There is no need to stuff the flippers.

  Row 1: flatten to match up the stitches and sc in the next 8 sts across

F/O, leave a long tail to sew onto the bottom shell. 

ASSEMBLE
     I recommend pinning the pieces before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best before sewing. (Most people prefer to use the yarn at the end of the finished pieces to sew them in place, but I use matching thread).
  HEAD...attach the last round to the bottom shell.

  TAIL...there's no need to stuff the tail. Sew onto the bottom shell, opposite from the head.

  FLIPPERS...place them along the bottom shell in the position you like best.

  Place both back ends facing each other and begin sewing the pieces together. Going through the back loops of the top shell and both loops of the bottom. Before you completely close it off, add fiberfill.

ASSEMBLE

     TIP...For anything that I am going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on a white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
     FACE...make an oval shape using white felt. DON'T glue it unto the body just yet.
     EYES...Using black felt make 2 small circles for the eyes.
Using purple felt make 2 short triangles (for the top) and 2 longer triangles (for the bottom). Glue in place the eyes and triangles to the oval piece.
Using black embroidery floss or thread, embroider a line between the eye and bottom triangle.
     MOUTH...using black embroidery floss or thread, embroider a line for the mouth. Below the mouth create a smaller line with purple embroidery floss or thread.

     ARMS...there is no need to stuff them. Place them between round 11 and 12.

     FACE to the BODY...place it in the center of the body between the arms.

     TRUNK...there's no need to stuff it. You'll want the part that we did the increases to be facing up and the hdc's should be in the bottom. Align the trunk to the center of the front feet between round 11 and 12.

     COLLAR...using yellow embroidery floss or thread, slip stitch between the front loops and round 2.

     Place the collar underneath the trunk on round 12 and sew it in place.

     EARS...place the ears between round 8 and 11. Align the ears to the center of the feet like seen in the picture.

     Using pink felt, cut out a similar shape to the ear but slightly smaller. Glue it on top and repeat this for the other ear.

     You will be folding up the top portion a bit and sewing it so it stays in place. This will make it look like the ears are droopy.

     HAT...lightly stuffed it. Place it in the position you like best.

     TAIL...align it to the center of the back feet and place it on round 14.

     EYES...using black felt, make 2 small circles. Place them between round 9 and 10; approx. 1.125" apart.

     CHEEKS...you can use pink felt and make tiny circles or you can use makeup blush and apply some on each side of the eyes.

  Row 5: sl st in each st around the entire the pot, join to 1st st with the invisible join
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.


ASSEMBLE
     I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best before sewing. (Most people like to use the yarn at the end of the finished pieces to sew them in place, but I personally like to use matching thread).
     BRANCHES...sew the branches in the position you like best or like shown in the picture.
     CACTUS to POT...sew the cactus to the pot.
     POT...using any color of embroidery floss, embroider a zigzag design across the middle of the pot or any design you like the possibilities are endless.

Round Plush Kirby

      For those who love cute things, Kirby is the perfect size to hold on your palm or attach to your bag as a keychain and be your traveling companion. You can also make a small blanket and attach him to make a lovey for your little one.

SIZE/MEASUREMENTS
approx. 2.5"height x 4"length

MATERIALS
*Crochet hook size: 3.5mm (E)
*Worsted Weight Yarn: Petal Pink (34yds) & Red (7yds)
*Stitch Markers to mark your rounds
*Felt: Black, White, Blue  & 2 shades of Red
*Fiberfill
*Tapestry Needle
*Matching Thread
*Hot Glue

PATTERN NOTES - must read...
 Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round/row indicate the total number of stitches.
 Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
 There's no need to sl st and/or ch when going to the next round unless stated to do so.
 Always do the 1st stitch where you slip stitch from the previous round.
 The chain, in the beginning, does NOT count as one stitch unless stated otherwise.
 You slip stitch on the first sc, not on top of the chain 1.

HEAD/BODY with petal pink
  Rnd 1: 6sc in magic ring (6)
  Rnd 2: 2sc in each st around (12)
  Rnd 3: sc in next st, 2sc in next st around (18)
  Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sts, 2sc in next st around (24)
  Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sts, 2sc in next st around (30)
  Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sts, 2sc in next st around (36)
  Rnd 7: sc in next 11 sts, 2sc in next st around (39)
  Rnd 8-13: sc in each st around (39)
  Rnd 14: sc in next 11 sts, sc2tog around (36)

Start stuffing the head/body moderately firm.
  Rnd 17: sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog around (18)

F/O and leave a tail for closing. Add any bits of stuffing need it to finish shaping the head/body. Weave in the tail through the final round and draw up tight to close. Secure and weave in the ends.

  Rnd 2: sc in next st, 2sc in next st around (6)
  Rnd 3: sc in next 2 sts, 2sc in next st around (8)
  Rnd 4: sc in each st around (8)
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.

FEET with red; make 2
  Rnd 1: 4sc in magic ring (4)
  Rnd 2: sc in next st, 2sc in next st around (6)
  Rnd 3: 3sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts around (10)
  Rnd 4-5: sc in each st around (10)
  Row 1: stuffed lightly, flatten to match up the stitches and sc across, ch1, turn (5)
  Row 2: sc2tog, sc in next st, sc2tog (3)
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.


ASSEMBLE

     TIP...For anything that I’m going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on a white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
     FEET...try to find the position you like best. I place mine between round 16 and 17; approx. 0.50" apart. Only sew the 2 last rows from the feet (the flat area) to the body.

     ARMS...there's no need to stuffed them, simply flattened them. You can place these however you like, the possibilities are endless. If you like to place them like I did...Align them to the feet and place them between round 9 and 12.

     EYES & MOUTH...you can make these however you like, the possibilities are endless. I made them out of felt, use the image below to get an idea on how to make them. Place the eyes between round 7 and 9; approx. 0.75" apart. The mouth goes in the center of the eyes between round 10 and 11.
     CHEEKS...you can use pink felt and make tiny ovals or you can use makeup blush and apply some on each side of the eyes.
