     For those who love cute things, this little sushi are the perfect size to hold on your palm or attach to your bag as a keychain and be your traveling companion.

SIZE/MEASUREMENTS
approx. 1.5"height x 1.5"length

MATERIALS
*Crochet hook size: 3.5mm (E)
*Worsted Weight Yarn: White (18yds), Salmon Pink (6yds), Aran (1yd) & Yellow (2yds)
*Stitch Markers to mark your rounds
*Felt: Black

*6mm Safety Eyes
*Fiberfill
*Tapestry Needle
*Hot Glue

*Makeup Blush & Q-tip (optional)

PATTERN NOTES - must-read...
 Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round/row indicate the total number of stitches.
 Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
 There's no need to sl st and/or ch when going to the next round unless stated to do so.

RICEBALL with white 

  Rnd 1: 4sc in magic ring (4) 

  Rnd 2: 3sc in each st around (12)

  Rnd 3: sc in next st, *2sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts* repeat from * to * 2 more times, 2sc in next st, sc in next st (16)

  Rnd 4: back loops only for this rnd sc in each st around (16)

  Rnd 5-9: sc in each st around (16)

  Rnd 10: back loops only for this rnd sc in next st, *sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts* repeat from * to * 2 more times, sc2tog, sc in next st (12)

If you're using any, place the safety eyes in the position you like best.

Begin stuffing moderately firm.

  Rnd 11: sc3tog around (4)

F/O and leave a tail for closing. Add any bits of stuffing need it to finish shaping the rice ball. Weave in the tail through the final round and draw up tight to close. Secure and weave in the ends.

SHRIMP starting with salmon pink 

  Rnd 1: 5sc into magic ring (5)

  Rnd 2: 2sc in each st around, in last st change to aran (10)

  Rnd 3: sl st in each st around, in last st change to salmon pink (10)

  Rnd 4: back loop only for this rnd sc in each st around (10)

  Rnd 5: sc in each st around, in last st change to aran (10 sc)

  Rnd 6: sl st in each st around, in last st change to salmon pink (10)

  Rnd 7: back loop only for this rnd sc in each st around (10)

  Rnd 8: sc2tog around (5)

There's no need to stuff the shrimp. 

  Row 1: flatten to match up the stitches and sl st across (3)

  Row 2: ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 hdc in last ch, sk next st, sl st in next st, ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 hdc in last ch, sl st in last st

F/O, secure and weave in the ends.

TAMAGO with yellow

  Row 1: ch6, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across, turn (5)

  Row 2-6: ch1, sc in each st across, turn (5)

F/O, secure and weave in the ends. 

ASSEMBLE
     I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best before sewing. (Most people like to use the yarn at the end of the finished pieces to sew them in place, but I personally like to use matching thread).
     TIP...For anything that I’m going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
     SHRIMP/TAMAGO...Sew the shrimp or tamago on top of the rice ball.

     NORI FOR TAMAGO...cut a strip of black felt. Place it in the center of the rice ball and tamago and glue the felt in place.

     EYES & MOUTH...these can be done however you like; the possibilities are endless. You can search online for "kawaii faces" or anything along those lines to get some ideas.

     BLUSH...you can use pink felt and make tiny circles or you can use makeup blush and apply some on each side of the eyes. You can also embroider lines with thread.

F/O, tie a knot and leave the tails to sew into place.

ASSEMBLE

     For those who love cute things, this little donut is the perfect size to hold on your palm or attach to your bag as a keychain and be your traveling companion. You can also make a small blanket and attach it to make a lovey for your little one.

SIZE/MEASUREMENTS
approx. 3.5"width x 3.5"length x 1.4" height

MATERIALS
*Crochet hook size: 3.5mm (E)
*Worsted Weight Yarn: Beige (30yds), Petal Pink (14yds) & scraps of yarn any color for the sprinkles
*Stitch Markers to mark your rounds
*Felt: Black & Red
*Fiberfill
*Tapestry Needle
*Matching Thread
*Hot Glue

     Follow the pattern for my 'Toasted Bread Slice Applique' and make 2 bread slices. Once you have made them follow the assemble process below to turn them into the peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

     MOUTH...using black embroidery floss or thread, embroider the mouth. Make it however you like, the possibilities are endless.
     CHEEKS...you can use pink felt and make tiny circles or you can use makeup blush and apply some on each side of the eyes using a q-tip.

ASSEMBLE
     TIP...For anything that I’m going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on a white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
     SEED...this part you can make it however you like (oval or heart shape, etc.) in the colors you desired. I'm making mine heart shaped with light brown and cream color felt. Glue them on the lower portion of the avocado just above round 2.

     EYES...using black felt make the eyes. You can play around with it and make them however you like, the possibilities are endless. I simply made tiny circles.

     MOUTH...using black embroidery floss or thread, create the mouth. Make it however you like, the possibilities are endless.

     BOW...make a little bow and you can either sew it on or glue it in place in the upper top left corner of one of the avocados.

     CHEEKS...you can use pink felt and make tiny circles or you can use makeup blush and apply some on each side of the eyes. You can put blush on both or just the one you put a bow on.

Halloween Applique: Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin

STEM with light brown

ASSEMBLE

FROSTING

  Rnd 1: ch2, *2dc inside the ring, sl st inside the ring*, repeat from * to * 3 more times, sl st into 1st st (12)
F/O, leave a tail to sew to the dough. Secure and weave in the ends.


ASSEMBLE
     For the sprinkles, embroider little lines over the frosting with any color of your choice.
     Glue a paperclip on the back.

Finally sl st into the 13th st again and you should have 3 leaves.
F/O, secure and weave in the ends

ASSEMBLE
     EYES...with black felt, make 2 small circles for the eyes. If you have a hole puncher, use that it makes perfect little eyes. With white thread make little circles in the middle. (If you find it difficult to make them with white thread you can use a wite-out pencil). Glue the eyes in place.
     SMILE...with black embroidery floss or thread, embroider the smile.

TIPS: You can play around with the eyes and mouth, make them anyway you like, the possibilities are endless. You can find lots of cute ideas by searching online anything between the lines of “kawaii face”.
You can also add a little blush underneath the eyes with a q-tip.

  Rnd 1: find the 2 stitches that are in the middle of the bottom part, from the ice cream part. Attach the cream yarn on one of 2 stitches and working on the back loops for this round only, sc on both of the stitches, ch1, turn (2)
  Rnd 2-4: sc in each st across, ch1, turn (2)
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.


ASSEMBLE
     EYES...these can be done however you like, the possibilities are endless. You can search online for "kawai faces" or anything along those lines to get some ideas.

  Row 10: sk 1st st, sc in next 4 sts, sl st in next st, ch1, turn (5)
  Row 11: sk 1st st, sc in next 4 sts, ch1, turn (4)
  Row 12: sc in each st across, ch1, turn and sl st around the entire milk carton.
F/O, secure and weave in the ends.

ASSEMBLE
     EYES...with black felt, cut 2 small circles for the eyes. If you have a hole puncher, use that it makes perfect little eyes. Glue the eyes on row 6 with 2 stitches in between them.
     SMILE...with black embroidery floss or thread, embroider the smile on row 5.
     With the pink felt, cut out a right triangle and 2 stripes. Make one of the stripes, slightly smaller than the other one. Glue the longer stripe on row 8 and the smaller stripe on row 10. The triangle goes on the lower right-hand side.
     With black embroidery floss or thread, embroider the work “Milk” at the bottom. If you’re really bad at embroidering like I am, use a thin sharpie to write it out.

TIPS: You can play around with the eyes and mouth, the possibilities are endless.
You can add a little blush underneath the eyes with a q-tip.
