By Janet Carrillo "damn it Janet, let's crochet!"
SIZE/MEASUREMENTS
approx. 14"height x 14"length

MATERIALS
*Crochet hook size: 4.5mm (7)
*Worsted Weight Yarn: Chocolate (355yds), Ivory (110yds), Beige (65yds), Black (10yds) & White (2yds)
*16" by 30" fabric (for lining)
*Fiberfill
*Tapestry Needle
*Matching Thread

PATTERN NOTES - must read...
*I used the corner-to-corner (C2C) method to crochet the graph.
*This pillow is square so you don’t have to worry about increasing on one side and decreasing on the other. The square shape makes it less confusing if you are new to corner-to-corner crochet, like I am.
*You'll find below the graph, written directions and color block directions to help you make this pillow. I include all 3 instructions since everyone has a different preference.
*After you finish the graph below you will need to make a second piece for the back in a solid color (I used chocolate).
This is the back side of the pillow.

COLOR CODE DIRECTIONS

ASSEMBLE
You can either sew the pieces together or single crochet them. If you're going to single crochet them together; attach the yarn at any point on the edge and a good way to keep your stitches even is to alternate between making 2 sc and then 3 sc along. Leaving one side open so you can line your pillow and stuff it.
You would need to line your pieces or make a cushion so the fiberfill won’t show through and/or if you wash the pillow the fiberfill won’t come out. You can sew or glue the fabric in place. (Even if you decide to wash it, the glue won’t come undone. I have washed several beanies that I have made for my son and the embellishments have stayed intact.)
Now you'll need to stuff your pillow moderately firm or to your liking. Continue to finish closing off the pillow. If you are single crocheting the pieces together, remember to slip stitch to the first stitch to give it an even finish. Finish off, secure and weave in the ends.

This pillow will go great with these and several other Monkey items that I have available.
You can purchase these patterns over on any of my shops (Ravelry or Etsy)
