Baby Soccer Ball Beanie

By JC Designs
This cute little beanie was requested by a friend. :)

newborn - 3months (13" - 15" head circumference)

*Crochet hook size: 4.0mm & 6.0mm
*Worsted weight yarn: White & Black
*Stitch Markers

At the end of round 5, laying flat = 4 inches in diameter. Don’t forget to check your gauge. :)

There's no need to slip stitch and/or chain when going to the next round unless stated to do so.
Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round or row indicate the total number of stitches for that round or row.
Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds. :)

Rnd 5: sl st into the next 3sts to give it a even look
F/O and weave in ends.

I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best.
Place one of the pentagons on top. The other 4 pentagons space them out evenly around the beanie above the third round from the bottom. Sew them in place. I personally like to sew my pieces with matching thread instead of the left over yarn.

Have a nice crochet time!
