Always do the 1st stitch where you slip stitch from the previous round.
The chain, in the beginning, does NOT count as one stitch unless stated otherwise.
You slip stitch on the first sc, not on top of the chain 1.

ASSEMBLE
I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best before sewing. (Most people like to use the yarn at the end of the finished pieces to sew them in place, but I personally like to use matching thread).
TIP...For anything that I’m going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on a white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
FEET...try to find the position you like best. I place mine between round 17 and 18; approx. 0.50" apart. Only sew the 2 last rows from the feet (the flat area) to the body.
INNER & OUTER EARS...place the wrong side of the inner ear to the wrong side of the outer ear. Sew both pieces together by matching up the stitches like in the picture below. Since the inner ear is one round smaller this will help the outer ear roll in a bit. Repeat the same process to the other ear pieces.
Place the ears on round 6 of the head/body. You'll only be sewing them to round 6 - 7 and leaving the rest unsew.
ARMS...there's no need to stuff them. Align them with the feet and place them on round 11 and 12. The ears will be overlapping them by a tiny bit.
SNOUT...place it in the center of the front of the head/body between round 10 and 13.
ADDING HAIR to the TAIL...with black yarn cut 2 strands (4" length each). Fold a strand in half and pass it through one end of the tail and pull through a loop, pull tight. Repeat with the remaining strand. Now that we have added all the strands of hair to the tail, using a comb or wire brush and start combing every strand of hair. This would make it look like fur. Finally, trim to the desired length.
BOW to TAIL...place the bow between the tail and hair we added. Sew in place.
TAIL to BODY...place it in round 14 over on the back of the body, try to find the middle. Using black felt make a tiny circle (this will be the nail that keeps the tail in place) and glue it on the tail like in the picture below.
HAIR on top of his HEAD...first find the center of the head. With black yarn, you'll want to cut 4" strands; approx. 8 strands. We'll be placing the strands evenly between round 2 through 6. Fold a strand in half and pass it through and pull through a loop, pull tight. Repeat with the remaining strands. Now that we have added all the strands of hair to the head, using a comb or wire brush and start combing every strand of hair. This would make it look like fur. Trim to the desired length. Finally, style it to your liking.
LINE down the FACE...using black thread or embroidery floss, embroider a line from the tip of the hair and all the way down to the end of the snout (1st image). You're going to be making 3 small lines across the long line down the face (2nd image).
EYES...using black felt make 2 circles. Place the black circles on round 9; approx. 0.75" apart.
EYEBROWS...using black thread or embroidery floss, embroider them just right above the eyes on round 6 to 7. You can make these however you like, but I simply made a slanted line.
NOSTRILS...using black thread or embroidery floss, embroider slanted lines on the snout.
