*Stitch Markers to mark your rounds
*8mm Safety Eyes
*Embroidery Floss: black

PATTERN NOTES - must-read...
Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round/row indicate the total number of stitches.
Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
There is no need to sl st and/or ch when going to the next round unless stated to do so.
When a round or row mentions “around/across,” you will be working that whole sequence from that round/row around the entire piece. (EX: sc in next st, 2sc in next st, around = sc, inc, sc, inc,…)

SPECIAL STITCHES
Single crochet 3 stitches together (sc3tog) - is a decrease over 3sts. Insert yarn thru 1st st, y/o pull thru, insert thru 2nd st, y/o pull thru, insert thru 3rd st, y/o pull thru, & y/o pull thru all 4 loops on hook.
super bulky weight yarn (38yds) with 5.5mm (I) hook and 12mm eyes.

NOTE: you'll start from the top of the head down to the body.

Rnd 2: 2sc in each st around (10)

F/O, leave a tail to sew the gap that remains when attaching both lumps.
Make a 2nd piece, but do not finish off.
Rnd 4: sc in the 1st st of the other lump (place a stitch marker in this stitch, this will be the new beginning of the round)*sc in next 3 sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts, 2sc in next st,* sc into the 1st st of the other lump, repeat from * to * 1 more time (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sts, 2sc in next st, around (30)
Rnd 6-8: sc in each st around (30)

Rnd 10-14: sc in each st around (34)
Turn the piece inside out and sew the gap closed.
Begin stuffing it firmly. If you are using safety eyes, place them between rounds 6 and 7; approx. 5 stitches apart.
Rnd 15: sl st in next st, sc in next 6 sts, sc3tog, sc in next 6 sts, sl st in next 2 sts, sc in next 6 sts, sc3tog, sc in next 6 sts, sl st in next st (30)

Rnd 18: sc in next st, sc2tog, repeat from * to * 6 times, sc in last 2 sts (14)
  Rnd 19: sc2tog around (7)
F/O and leave a tail for closing. Add any bits of stuffing needed to finish shaping the head. Weave in the tail through the final round and draw it up tight to close. Secure and weave in the ends.

ARMS with lavender/blue; make 2
Rnd 1: 4 sc in magic ring (4)
Rnd 2: 2sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts (5)
Rnd 3: 2sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts (6)
Rnd 4: 2sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts (7) [sc up to here for the right arm]
Rnd 5: sc in next 4 sts [do this part for the left arm]
F/O, leave a tail for sewing.

ASSEMBLE
I recommend pinning the pieces before sewing them to ensure you have them in the position you like best before sewing.
ARMS...place them on each side of the body between rounds 6 and 8, right above the 3-stitch increase.
MOUTH...using black embroidery floss, embroider the mouth between rounds 8 and 9; 8 stitches wide.
