ASSEMBLE
I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you have them in the position you like best before sewing. (Most people like to use the yarn at the end of the finished pieces to sew them in place, but I personally like to use matching thread).
TIP...For anything that I’m going to be using felt, I like to first sketch it out on a white paper and make a stencil of what I need. Then cut it out. Then tape the stencil to the felt and cut it out.
FEET...if you have not already stuff them lightly. Place them between round 15 and 17; approx 1.25" apart.
ARMS...no need to stuff them. Align them to the feet and place them on round 11 and 12.
EARS...there is no need to stuff them, simply flatten them out. Place them in round 4 and 7.
EAR SPOT...using yellow felt make a rounded triangle and place them in the ears.
EYES...using white felt, make 2 circles for the eyes, and with black felt make 2 smaller ones for the pupils. Place the eyes between round 7 and 9.
NOSE...using a light brown felt, make a rounded rectangle and place it in the center of round 9 and 10.
WHISKERS...place them on both sides in the position you like best. Only sew the center of the whisker unto the body.
TAIL...place it in the back on round 15.
COLLAR...using a light blue ribbon or embroidery floss, wrap it around the center of round 10 and 11 and make a small knot to secure it.
